Logistics developments at Alba-Zöchling Kft.

Thanks to the development, the warehouse capacity of Alba-Zöchling Kft. was expanded, which was achieved by installing racking in the free areas of the warehouses – previously used for block storage –, by fitting one of the shelved warehouses with a so-called narrow-aisle racking system, and by constructing a new warehouse building. The capacity of the handling equipment was also expanded: a forklift truck and a pallet racking system were purchased. As part of the investment, IT equipment was also procured, and thanks to the software development the company now uses a new barcode system, which has made work more efficient. As a result of the project, the company was able to significantly increase its storage capacities and modernise its equipment on the same footprint.
